The Mall Deputies are nice people. Patient. Patient with me. So I said to myself, "self, you should do something nice for the Mall Deputies. Like stop uploading junk that gets rejected and stuff."
Well, I can't promise that, but I did ask Paden if he would share some of his secrets for getting stuff into the mall, and now I would like to share that information with you.
Now that I are a Mall Checker myself, I are, I have even more incentive to provide helpful information to our building constituency.
Here are the Rules for Uploading to the Mall, with a few tweaks by Paden, musicat, and yours truly.
Here is a categorized list of standard rejection messages - read them now, and avoid getting one of your own!
Emphasized over and over again in these materials is the importance of using 008's item checker before submitting to the mall. You'll find the item checker at:

A very helpful resource is Mr. Phillip's World Builder's Guild website. It features tutorials, code examples, suggested tools, and information about becoming a Cybertown World Bulder.
These are some lessons I've come up with to answer common questions from creators.
How to use Sensors to trigger animations.
Suggestions for making animations that Open and Close doors, etc.
How to Bind and Unbind a Viewpoint in a Mall Object.
How to make water flow across a VRML surface. (Take a crack at hand-coded VRML!).
How to make an item that changes color. (More hand coding fun!)
