Dennis Dawson's Video Page

I have been fortunate enough to work with some very talented people (notably my good friend, Douglas DeVore) to produce a number of award-winning videos in the past few years. I'm now working on the production team for a new series, Tech Knowledge, which is currently pursuing a national underwriter.

In 1999, I had the opportunity to spend three weeks in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as an Associate Producer of the Public Television program Mark Kistler's Imagination Station. Imagination Station is shown daily in most major markets across the U.S., and in 50 other countries. I produced a series of roll-ins for the series entitled Web Wizards, which encouraged kids to go out and safely surf the Internet. I was the lead writer for the Imagination Station that season, putting together 40 script/storyboards, and served as Assistant Director, keeping the time and running the teleprompter.

Here is a link to Douglas DeVore's gallery, where he has posted seven of the Web Wizards segments: http://gallery.mac.com/wdevore#gallery.

I'm most proud of these awards, which were entered in the professional categories due to the fact that Web Wizards is a segment of Mark Kistler's Imagination Station, a show currently airing nationwide on Public Television and in 50 countries around the world.
